Chocolate Chip Cookies
We all have a favorite recipe for chocolate chip cookies, but this one is really good. So very good. Amazingly good. Make a double batch and don't share.
Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 (3.4 oz) packages instant vanilla pudding
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 cups semi-sweet choc. chips
- 2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350°. Sift together flour and baking soda. Set aside.
- In large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in instant pudding until blended. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour mixture. Finally, stir in choc. chips and nuts. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10 - 12 minutes. Edges should be golden brown.
Recipe Yield = 6 dozen cookies
