Cranberry Apple Casserole
Had success with this one at potlucks. Good addition to guest breakfasts, too.
Ingredients
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 Tbs flour
- 4 cups peeled, sliced apples
- 2 cups cranberries, dried or fresh
- 2 1.23 oz. instant cinnamon and spice oatmeal packets. Or just throw together your own.
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Stir together sugar and 2 Tbs flour. Add apple slices and cranberries; toss to coat. Transfer to 2-quart casserole.
- In seperate bowl, mix oatmeal, pecans, brown sugar, and 1/3 cup flour. Stir in butter until moistened. Sprinkle over fruit.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until fruit is tender. If necessary to prevent overbrowning, cover with foil for last 10 minutes of baking. Serve warm.
