Texas Ranger

Great Aunt Margaret’s sure-fire recipe for holiday hoopla. 

Also applicable as a cold remedy, or for whatever else ails you. 

Dangerous to unsuspecting guests.

4 oz fresh lemon juice

6 oz honey

6 oz whiskey

6 oz gin

2 oz Southern Comfort

Mix well—serve over chipped ice.  (Recommended serving size: just a wee dram in a cordial glass, especially for the uninitiated).

For a crowd:

1 c fresh lemon juice

1 ½ c. honey

1 ½ c. whiskey

1 ½ c. gin

½ c. Southern Comfort
